How to make a donation
SSAO is registered as a not for profit corporation with the following purposes:

To promote social justice for older adults by advocating anti-ageist policies and practices, in order to eliminate differential treatment and systemic discrimination.

To end the unjustifiable mass institutionalization of elders through the advancement of policies, practices, and legislation promoting alternative in-home, direct funding, and community-based support and service options.

To advance age-friendly, anti-ageist policies and practices at all levels of government and throughout Ontario society by providing information and research carried on under the auspices of the corporation.

To oppose the exploitation of older adults for-profit.

Please note that Seniors for Social Action (Ontario) is not a Charity. We cannot issue charitable donation receipts for tax purposes. SSAO is a Social Advocacy Organization.
Your donation helps SSAO to continue providing you and the general public with information, research, and policy and service options. It also assists SSAO in achieving its goals.
SSAO is only able to accept donations via
Interac e-Transfer.

How to send money with

You and the recipient each need your own:

To send, follow the easy-to-use instructions on screen:

Log into your online or mobile banking app and select the account.

Choose or add your recipient’s email or mobile number.

Enter the amount and a security question (no need if the recipient has registered for Interac e-Transfer® Autodeposit). SSAO is registered for Autodeposit. No security question is needed.
